This year our Regional Sports Directors are delivering a series of local hui to provide professional development and networking opportunities to schools in their communities. The first event in this series was the Top of the South Regional Hui hosted by School Sport Canterbury, Sport Tasman and Aoraki Secondary School Sport. They brought the schools together in Christchurch for 2 days of workshops and presentations from keynote speakers and industry experts.

School Sport NZ travelled to the event to present an introduction to Diversity and Inclusion. We explored what D&I really means, how can we be more inclusive and who are we targeting. An update was given on what work School Sport NZ is currently doing in this space and what they can expect over the next 12 months as we progress on this journey.
